Last year, Santa was not a great experience for Jocelyn. So this year, since she understands the concept more, we tried to build him up. She even told us what she wanted from Santa...a candy cane. That was it.
So, early in December we headed to The Riverwoods and went to meet Santa. All the way there she was so excited. She was going to ask him for a candy cane! Then we got in line....and she was not going to go to him. So we had him hold Calli. Then, wonderful Santa, coaxed Jocelyn into coming near him and then, sitting on his lap. By the end, Jocelyn loved him. He was awesome.
And now, all she talks about and sings about is Santa. We will see what happens next year.
