Funny things Jocelyn has said lately

Do I know that most of these things will not be funny to you? Yes. Do I care? No. I just want to make sure I remember these things because they make me laugh, and love this two year old.

I was blowing my nose. Jocelyn- " mommy and joci blowin the boogers!"

In the bath Jocelyn was dumping water on her leg. " I cleaning the owie on my knee!"

At breakfast she had me practice signing water, more and dog.

Jocelyn at dinner - she looks at me and says"mommy have boobies" (she also said that joci, cory, sleeping beauty and macaroni have them too.) Maybe not entirely appropriate. But I found it hilarious. And no, I am not trying to get her to say these things.

Jocelyn was playing and pinched her finger. " owe mom! I need a battery!" ( band aid)

Cory decided to introduce Jocelyn to John Denver. She loved him. She then proceeded to tell Cory that she wants to give John Denver a hug and a kiss.

St. Patrick's day painting

We are painting with rainbow colors today. In this picture Jocelyn says she painted a chair, mommy, daddy, marie, quackey and raffi sleeping. I love watching her use her imagination!

February in iPhone pictures.

Anne saw me pull out my phone and immediately knew I was using the camera. She did not stop saying cheese and posing until it was out of view.

I was cleaning the kitchen and told Jocelyn I was "cleaning the uckies off." She proceeded to find a wash cloth and clean as well. Clementine was one of her things to clean.

Thanking Dad for his valentine present

She has taken to picking out her own clothes lately.

10 weeks

When I was pregnant with Jocelyn I could not believe that people did this more than once. I was not happy. I felt sick, constantly. I could not eat dairy, chocolate, anything greasy or tasty. I started feeling better finally at 15 weeks but could not eat anything still. And sickness never fully left.

So many people told me the end result was worth it, and that you forget a lot of it. I swore they were crazy. I remember telling Cory that I was terrified that something would happen to the baby before she was born and I would never want to be pregnant again.

Then, about a year after she was born I finally understood. I enjoyed having a child and that miserable 9 months was worth it. Then, almost 2 years later I thought, "I could do this again." Then I told myself I was crazy. But the thought kept coming. Then Cory agreed. And now here I am 10 weeks along.I am sick, have been since week 6. I am SOOOOOO tired, and sick. Did I mention that before? And I am the one saying that it will be worth it. And I know it will.

I will never be one of those people who says she loves being pregnant. I don't. I don't understand how anyone could. Nothing fits, you gain a ton of weight, and you feel like crap. But I do love the end result. So on we go, moving forward through the next 5 months working toward that wonderful end result.

Dreams

Jocelyn tends to have bad dreams. I think she got this from her dad. I know I have had bad dreams but I don't think I have had that many. However, no matter how bad they are, I cannot help but laugh at the things she cries out when she is dreaming. Two nights ago she was crying "ee ie ee ie oh!" in her sleep. Then last night she was crying and screaming so I went in to check on her and she just kept yelling "peas and corn! peas and corn!"

Oh how I do not envy her dreams. Those poor things she loves must have a tough time.

Sweet Heart

Yesterday, while looking for Jocelyn's ever elusive tights, I apparently yelled in frustration. Next thing I know I have a little two year old with her birthday dress coming in, patting me on the back saying in a little coddling voice, "Happend, Sweet heart?"

Where does she learn these things?
