This post has been difficult to post. Mostly because, to me, it signifies a whole new chapter in life. In December, we made the very difficult decision for me to be a stay at home mom. I was frightened and not sure I was ready to leave a job I loved. But we knew it was what we were supposed to do. Then, in February, Cory got a full time job. A "big boy" job. We then began to look for a home. At the end of June, be bought a house, 30 minutes away from good old Orem. We are officially home owners. It was so exciting but also a bit sad. We loved our town home and the amazing neighbors and ward to go with it. While our new home and neighborhood and ward are all more than I could ask for. I miss it a bit. I also cannot help but feel like I have not only left a career but I have also closed the door and locked it. Its a weird feeling. But I can write more about that later.
So here is our moving weekend in pictures.
Both girls got sick the week of, and I got sick the day of the move so Grandpa, very lovingly, came and helped.
We really miss having our good friends to play with.
Everyone wants a backyard so they can run in the sprinklers naked, right?
Goodbye our dear town home in the middle of Orem. I will miss you and our neighbors and the library around the corner.
