The other night we sat down to dinner and began to get ready for the blessing on the food. Before we could even say anything, Jocelyn launched into her own prayer. She only needed a little prompting to add something about the food in there, other than that, this was completely her own prayer.
"Heavenly Father
Thank you this day
Thank you for blessings
Thank you for Henry's house
Thank you for food, bless it
Jesus Christ, Amen."
She no longer allows us to help her.....so most prayers say the same thing no matter what. But it is cute and she is learning. We are also learning what is on her mind at the time. It is fun.
