What she said

Jocelyn has a really good memory. Lately she has taken to picking up phrases (good and bad) from us and also reciting conversations she has had with us in the past. We have learned that just because she does not repeat something we say immediately, it does not mean it will not come up later.

Examples:

Jocelyn" Holy...Holy.."
            "Where did that come from?" (imitating me)
Me: " Yes Jocelyn, where did that come from?"
Jocelyn :" Holy Crap!" (we are really working on breaking her of this one.)

Jocelyn :(gives a frustrated growl
Me: What is wrong Jocelyn?
Jocelyn : " Whats wrong Daddy? This guy is being an idiot!"

This is her reciting a conversation with Cory in the car. If either of us get upset while driving in the car she asks us what is wrong. (If you have ever driven with Cory, you will know this just might be a common occurrence.)

We were at a friends house and Jocelyn and their daughter, Ellie, had just finished taking a bath.
Ellie was getting dressed and was not too happy about it. Jocelyn looked at me and said, " Ellie is freaking out!"
