Easter Weekend

Friday afternoon after all the graduation festivities, we had a family Easter gathering for the family in Utah.

Jocelyn and Grandpa had a good time together.

Jocelyn thought the dye for the eggs was fun, but only when she could stick her hands and other things in it then try to paint the table.

After dying eggs we went to dinner as a family. We thought the two littlest would enjoy being near each other, and they did. They loved sharing their food with each other, showing off their new tricks and talking throughout the whole dinner.

Saturday morning my work was holding their Easter egg hunt. So Sara and my parents brought Jocelyn down to participate. Little did any of us know that apparently this is more of a contest for parents to see how much loot they can get for their kids. (literally some parents were tackling each other for things.)

However, Jocelyn was perfectly content with us holding her at bay until the madness passed. In fact, the candy she found within inches of where we put her down was probably the greatest discovery ever.

And, once she found that one candy she was done. A cute little girl even tried to share some of her candy with her, but Jocelyn did not care. She had her one candy that she found. So, though the hunt was about 30 seconds long, it was fun.

Sadly, my parents had to leave that afternoon since my Grandma needed them back home. But the time we did get to spend with them was wonderful.
